The education requirements for new
equipment and plant systems are developed and implemented to
provide a safe patient care and work environment.
Orientation sessions for staff,
physicians and the community is planned and scheduled to
coincide with construction dates and the certificate of
occupancy. Training is scheduled to help control salary
expenses, yet provide thorough training for all staff.
Templates for department and general orientations are provided
to assist with development of these programs. Examples from
other facilities are also available. Community open houses are
planned and scheduled in a complementary manner with the
transition and construction activities, maximizing marketing
opportunities.
